Frequently Asked Questions
- What pace do you normally run?
- Our pace groups range from speedy 6 minute milers to the "Hokey Pokey" runners who clock 10 - 11 minute miles.
- Is it a good idea to be able to run a few miles before running with Millstriders?
- Yes - if you're able to run 5 or more miles at a 10-11 minute pace or faster, you're in!
- Do you offer scheduled runs?
- Yes - we have regular runs on Tuesday & Thursday mornings, Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.
- Do you plan scheduled runs at different locations?
- Yes, we offer a variety of adventurous running options for our regular runners. For those who can take time on the weekends, we frequently plan runs at the American Tobacco trail, Umstead Park, Duke Forest off of Whitfield Road and many other great running spots located right here in the Triangle area. Most weeks, there is a contingent of Millstriders who will run at the scheduled locations. You decide which run best fits your schedule. When you come run with us, we'll be sure to keep you posted on these alternate runs.

- To further entice our runners to strive for their next goal, we participate in races and relays throughout NC, the US and the world. Come run with us to hear the tales of runs we've done as well as future plans for upcoming races.
